Conserving Nature Through Design and Education

Arkitrek is rooted in a love of wilderness areas and the question of what we in the construction industry can do to protect them. We founded our Arkitrek Camp design/build school in 2011 with the objectives to:

re-connect architects to nature and society
provide inspirational design services to environmental, social and community organisations
sambil belajar sambil buat – learn by doing

Since then our live design teams of students and young professionals have completed more than 15 innovative and beautiful buildings in the enchanting rainforests, rural villages and coral islands of Borneo.
