Applying for Arkitrek is a 3-step process
- Check your eligibility
- Complete the application form below
- Email your cv/resume and portfolio to us together with a covering message
Step 1 – Check your eligibility
Before you apply, please check that you are eligible.
Arkitrek is primarily for Architecture students, graduates and professionals. Minimum qualification is to be studying for RIBA Part I (or equivalent). Prior work experience is not essential although we will prioritise applicants with relevant experience.
Eligibility Exceptions: We also welcome applications from other construction-industry students, including engineers, with equivalent minimum qualification. Mature applicants with relevant experience in design and/or construction are also welcome. Pre Part I Architects may be accepted for a group design-build Arkitrek Camp but are not eligible for Internships.
Immigration Restrictions: You must be eligible for a Social Visit Pass for a stay of up to 3-months in Malaysia. Citizens of most ‘Western’ countries are eligible. Many other countries, including India, China and most of ASEAN, will require a visa. The visa process is lengthy and expensive with no guarantee of success. For more information refer to the Malaysian Immigration website.
Step 2 – Completing the Application Form
